Why Now?
My friends, we have been placed here for a time. We can redefine what a city does and what this city means to the world. We have a unique opportunity to make history. We have inherited an opportunity to ensure that when we are talked about a decade from now, it will be our resistance, our righteousness and our unified response that will be honoured. I ran for Mayor in 2010, because it's my dream, it's my passion to serve you and be your undaunted leader in the face of uncertainty. Just like you who wakes every morning with a drive to achieve, I am propelled by the same fuel to serve. I have an honest approach to leadership, a committed attitude for servitude and I will never let anyone believe that they CANNOT.
Now What?
Engage, engage and more engagement! We need to educate ourselves with the facts about everyone who is running for public service to ensure that the most qualified and those with an attitude of servitude gets the opportunity to work for us. We have to take advantage of this time to get career politicians to take our calls, hear our pleas and make good on our promises because they need our vote to keep their jobs. Join our team and you will be given an opportunity to see the city like never before, to meet people who share your passion for change and your love for Toronto. We are out everyday attending events and connecting citizens to ways to make a real change in the lives of those around them. This campaign is does not end after the election we are building an infrastructure that will build a network within our city that will keep the pressure on our elected officials and ensure that every community is constantly on the rise!
